In May 2002, we were contacted by a UK based real Estate organization, via an email inquiry. Defined scope of work – CAD drafting of 2D brochure quality Floor plans (1:1 scale) from received hand-drawn measured sketches drawn by surveyors, with a Turn-Around-Time (TAT) within 24 hours.
The Journey from Trial Vendor to Preferred Partner
The customer initially outsourced this work to other vendors in South Africa. DigitiseIT started working for this client as a trial for identification for another vendor, with 1 to 3 drawings per day. Over a short span of 3 months, we grew to be their “most preferred vendor” for this work.
In one year, the customer realized that our deliverables on quality and time scheduling were unmatched and appointed DigitiseIT as their SOLE VENDOR.
Over the years, as the business expanded to over 60 floorplans a day, DigitiseIT supported the expansion not only by scaling up but by refining methodologies and developing automation programs to ensure continual quality deliveries within the stipulated TATs.
It is now, over 20 years and we continue to support this customer, as their Sole vendor.
We receive work every day and deliver every day, with TAT less than 24 hours.
